The W.M.U Comics! Now with **Commentary!** Fall Semester 2004 |
| August 23, 2004- Welcome back to WMU! It's been a long summer. |
| August 24, 2004- You are either a Hunter or a Chaz. Sadly, I'm more of a Hunter. |
| August 25, 2004- This one didn't run in the paper for whatever reason (they re-ran some other one from this week). So you net-viewers get a web-sclusive! |
| August 26, 2004- I had a bad experience over the summer and I will never drink again. |
| August 27, 2004- From personal experience. |
| August 30, 2004- Ross in the hat is inspired. |
| August 31, 2004- An easy "gag." |
| September 1, 2004- I could totally see myself living in Wyoming. It's so laid-back. |
| September 2, 2004- |
| September 3, 2004- For a while, my friend and I were thinking about getting into Hero-clix, but we never really found the time or the money. |
| September 6, 2004- Labor Day. No School. |
| September 7, 2004- This is how Fish gets the money to afford his upcoming Butler. |

| September 10, 2004- How do you read the last panel? Well, 1st: Steve's comment, then Fish's, then Steve's, then Fish's. See? Funny, isn't it? |
| September 13, 2004- This is the real-life birthday of comics legend Bus-Stop Guy. So, I thought it fitting to bring him back. I only wish I had taken more time to build up this "new" bus-stop guy who we only see in the first panel. The original comic that ran in the paper said "There can be only NONE!" (which is a Sealab 2021 reference). Here on the site however, it has been changed to "There can be only ONE!" which is, of course, a Highlander reference. And there you go. |
| September 14, 2004- In the original Highlander movie, Sean Connery's "Egyptian" character teaches Christopher Lambert how to sword-fight and be merry. |
| September 15, 2004- So I was thinking to myself, "what is the absolute funniest thing that could pop out of a trash can?" |
| September 16, 2004- I really think it's funny that a huge star like Sean Connery would be in financial ruin due to movie piracy. |
| September 17, 2004- I used to be annoyed out of my mind at the "special message" from stunt man Manny Perry that used to appear before every single movie I saw where he equated movie pirating to shop-lifting. Now, I'm not in favor or movie-pirating by any means, but that guy was really annoying. |
| September 20, 2004- This one's weak. |
| September 21, 2004- Man, Connery is so out of it. |
| September 22, 2004- |
| September 23, 2004- A classic Ross moment with a classic line from Boogie Nights thrown in. |
| September 24, 2004- And the twist. |
| September 27, 2004- Starts off the "Steve wants a girlfriend" story. |
| September 28, 2004- Poor Steve. |
| September 29, 2004- Featuring a classic Billie and Ross moment (in my opinion). |
| September 30, 2004- My birthday. Yup. That's why it makes no sense. |
| October 1, 2004- This is the LAST time. I swear! |

| October 6, 2004- I thought it would be funny if someone only had erotic stories. |
| October 7, 2004- The first Daniel Fishman. |
| October 8, 2004- |
| October 11, 2004- I thought about resolving the Fish/Fishman conflict with violence, but this seemed like a better (and more nostalgic) way to end it. I miss Geology. |
| October 12, 2004- Ok, have you heard of the Marvel character Deadpool? Well, Marvel cancelled his series, then restarted it as a new series called Cable/Deadpool. Cable is a terrible character. Deadpool is a good character. Why match them together? I have no idea. Oh yeah, and the series is awful. So this comic reflects why it is stupid to add Cable to a series... he is stupid. |
| October 13, 2004- This is the day the 3rd Presidential Debate was held on campus. |
| October 14, 2004- Yeah. Whatever. |
| October 15, 2004- I drew this after I realized it would be very humorous if a witch were to spontaneousy say "Oink oink!" |
| October 18, 2004- This was a real Hall and Oates week for me. |
| October 19, 2004- If I took this strip farther, the hostage situation would last a few days, and eventually the local news would interview Hunter and he would talking about how Fish is such a bad roommate. |
| October 20, 2004- Why are Hall and Oates surrounded by chicks? Because they are damn cool. |
| October 21, 2004- This is a response to all the bad groups I've had over the years. And I hope some other people can relate. |
| October 22, 2004- And so on... |
| October 25, 2004- This pretty much closes out the "Hunter's group" story, but the semester isn't over yet, so he may need to work with them again. |
| October 26, 2004- The bus-stop guy has been gone for a while, so I felt it was about time for his triumphant return. |
| October 27, 2004- Easy. |
| October 28, 2004- If you've ever been to Atomic Comics, you know what I'm talking about here. |
| October 29, 2004- This is an easy gag. |
| November 1, 2004- I realized at the last minute that I hadn't done anything with a Halloween theme, so here is something with a MARGINAL Halloween theme. It also addresses the fact that many people don't particularly care for Billie and Ross. Those people are wrong. |
| November 2, 2004- If you saw the last few comics from the Spring '04 semester, you would have seen that Fish had a girlfriend. This comic addresses her current absence. |
| November 3, 2004- This turned out to be a very "Octopus" week. |
| November 4, 2004- Steve's absence will be addressed next week. |
| November 5, 2004- He can come out of anything!!! |
| November 8, 2004- I wasn't sure if maybe Fish was being a little too cruel in the beginning of this one. |
| November 9, 2004- The character introduced in Panel #2 will hopefully become recurring. |
| November 10, 2004- Sometimes we forget that our actions have effects on others. |
| November 11, 2004- No school/newspaper. Veterans' Day. |
| November 12, 2004- This one was a train wreck from the very beginning. Click HERE to see an alternate ending which is only marginally better than the original. |
| November 15, 2004- Long story, but today was a repeat of 11/9/04's comic. |
| November 16, 2004- For some reason, I am a big fan of this one. |
| November 17, 2004- If you remember correctly, Ross has a record contract. |
| November 18, 2004- The girl in this one may look like Michelle, but she is not. I tried to make her hair different... but I'm not very creative in that regard. |
| November 19, 2004- The real-life BSG is desperate to be in the comic, so I fit him in when I can. |
| November 22, 2004- This is in response to all the professors and guest speakers who seem to really enjoy telling college students that it's difficult to find employment after graduation. They put so much pressure on us, it's ridiculous. I mean, I know that a college degree alone isn't going to guarantee me employment, but I don't need it hammered into my skull over and over. COB 301 is especially guilty of this. |
| November 23, 2004- I was going to do several comics that take place within "Superfish," and they would all be in Fish's stick-figure drawing style, but I decided against it because it just wasn't working. |
| November 24, 2004- I didn't anticipate many people being on campus today. |
| November 25, 2004- No newspaper/comic today. |
