Fall Semester 2005 (The FINAL Season!!!)

August 22, 2005-Back in business.
August 23, 2005- A fairly "blocky" look for Steve. Sometimes it's hard to cram all the dialogue into these small panels.
August 24, 2005- Is there a real freshman mentor program? Somebody let me know.
August 25, 2005- My only regret is that I never showcased any of Chaz's bad poetry.
August 26, 2005- Why the hell did I give Hunter black eyebrows? Honestly, what was I thinking?
August 29, 2005- Oh geez. Here is the infamous week where I did "computer" lettering. It took me forever and it looks offensively artificial. I quickly went back to my organic lettering (which also takes forever).
August 30, 2005- I was still getting a handle on drawing Hunter here. He has too many sharp angles in this one. Also, this past summer I grew dangerously attached to Death Cab for Cutie. I freaking love them.
August 31, 2005- Even though it has the ugly lettering, this strip has one of my favorite gags I've done.
September 1, 2005- Not the best likeness, but this needed to be said.
September 2, 2005- Hunter's black eyebrows ruin this strip for me.
September 5, 2005- Labor Day.
September 6, 2005- This comic means nothing to people who haven't read the comic before this semester. In retrospect, this wasn't the best way to re-introduce the octopi.
September 7, 2005- Here's the necessary background.
September 8, 2005- ...
September 9, 2005- One of my favorite details I've included in a comic is the box of Werther's Originals that Connery is apparently eating.
September 12, 2005- I want an Ipod. I have a Creative Zen Micro, and it satisfies me, but for some reason I still want an Ipod. I love the click-wheel.
September 13, 2005- It was the BSG's birthday, so he gets to be in the comic.
September 14, 2005- I don't think this gag works very well.
September 15, 2005- The Octopus' home planet sucks, I'm trying to get that across.
September 16, 2005- I honestly have no idea what was going on in my life that i decided to draw this.
September 19, 2005- Stephanie needed to be re-introduced here, so that when "The Choice" comes later in the semester, her intentions are clear.
September 20, 2005- The weirdest freakin' thing ever. The same day this comic ran, Class Mishaps ran a comic which also derided Laguna Beach. Odd.
September 21, 2005- I freakin' love Billie and Ross.
September 22, 2005- ...
September 23, 2005- I was going to do an Octopus comic each Friday, but I soon abandoned it. They will come back later.
September 26, 2005- I noticed Jennifer Love Hewitt has a new television show, and I remembered that I don't particularly care for her.
September 27, 2005- I worried this was a little too much for the State Press, but no one complained.
September 28, 2005- Oddly enough, I started this comic by drawing Hunter and Fish with different facial expressions in each panel before I knew what the comic would even be about. Then I wrote the dialogue. Now that I've bored you to death, read the comic.
September 29, 2005- I'm trying to get across that Ross is an insanely smart puppy.
September 30, 2005- Speaks for itself.
October 3, 2005- I used to truly enjoy The O.C, but so far the new season has yet to interest me in the least.
October 4, 2005- The new dean. When I started with this storyline, I didn't expect it to go as far as it did. It ended up lasting over two weeks.
October 5, 2005- Typical Fish logic.
October 6, 2005- The dean has a sign on his door so you know it's him.
October 7, 2005- I admit that this one may be a little uninspired.
October 10, 2005- In retrospect, this story was too long.
October 11, 2005- The fellow in the first panel is a real dude and he is definitely one of WMU's biggest fans.
October 12, 2005- This stuff writes itself sometimes.
October 13, 2005- And we celebrate the 13th day of October with... yet another comic in the dean storyline.
October 14, 2005- When I wrote this, I had just watched the movie Waiting, and was a little pissed off.
October 17, 2005- I think it's true about the rats. But it's probably about as true as the rumor that McDonald's cheese is actually an edible plastic.
October 18, 2005- Everything about this comic works for me.
October 19, 2005- I though to myself... "How can I end this Dean story arc unexpectedly?" Well, here it is.
October 20, 2005- I dare you to argue with this.
October 21, 2005- I can milk a gag like no one else!!!
October 24, 2005- If you want the full story on this, go here.
October 25, 2005- Summing up my feelings at the time.
October 26, 2005- If you watch this show, you know it can be obscenely frustrating at times.
October 27, 2005- MySpace sucks. By the way, hit me up here!
October 28, 2005- And it begins...
October 31, 2005- This whole story was going to be a lot more violent, but I'm happy with the direction it took.
November 1, 2005- But... what sense does this make?
November 2, 2005- Oh, I get it.
November 3, 2005- Oh, dear!!!
November 4, 2005- But... but... is it true!?!?
November 7, 2005- A week of flashbacks!?!? Yes, for emotional effect.
November 8, 2005- What a nice compliment from Fish.
November 9, 2005- Fish's oft-used mace.
November 10, 2005- And the clincher.
November 11, 2005- Veterans' Day.
November 14, 2005- He's a diva!
November 15, 2005- Fish back in business.
November 16, 2005- Injection? But... why?
November 17, 2005- Oh, how wacky! Dennis Quaid needs someone to help him choose movies.
November 18, 2005- Because Billie and Ross rock.
November 21, 2005-
November 22, 2005-
